Conductor, Violinist, Dancer and Musical Director of Kissar Ensemble
Cultivated and attracted by the musical and performing arts, [Name of Artist] has found in them a profound influence on his development as a performer and creator. Born in Bilbao, he stood out from childhood as a violinist and dancer. He is currently musical director of the Kissar Ensemble and president of the BiziMusika Musical Association, dedicated to the revision, recovery, publication, performance and dissemination of music created by composers from the Basque-speaking world.
Considered a profound expert and admirer of the Rossini repertoire, his research work also covers Rossini’s contemporary composers and their projected influence. His symphonic and operatic repertoire is wide-ranging, covering from the classical to the contemporary period, with special emphasis on the Italian, French and Spanish repertoire, without neglecting a particular interest in Basque music and folklore.

Graduated in conducting at the Triennio di Alto Perfezionamento of the Accademia Musicale Pescarese (Italy), under the tutelage of the prestigious maestro Donato Renzetti. During his training period, he actively participated in projects and masterclasses with D. Renzetti, performing works such as Le Nozze di Figaro by W. A. Mozart (in Pesaro), La Bohème by G. Puccini, Le Sacre du Printemps by I. Stravinsky and Così fan tutte by W. A. Mozart (in Rome). She has also received valuable advice and training from maestros Gianluigi Gelmetti and Oliver Díaz
His special interest in vocal work and his enthusiasm for the union of the arts led him to establish a professional relationship with the renowned musicologist and conductor Alberto Zedda, with whom he collaborated in various productions and participated in the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro.

Professional Career
Asier Eguskitza debuted as a conductor at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre in Donostia, conducting the Kissar Orkestra Sinfonikoa, the Sarea choir and the Ballets Olaeta Association, in a production broadcast by EITB. Through this ballet association, he has carried out several projects, among them his acclaimed EME
He has conducted in prestigious theatres such as the Teatro Rossini in Pesaro, the Teatro dal Verme in Milan, the Teatro Valle in Chiaravalle, the Teatro Feronia in San Severino Marche, the Teatro Campos Elíseos in Bilbao, as well as with renowned orchestras such as the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, the Gioacchino Rossini Philharmonic, the Orchestra of I Pomeriggi Musicali, the Orchestra Ariadimúsica, the Orchestra of the Accademia di Pescara and the Symphony Orchestra of Navarra.
He has worked as assistant conductor in important symphonic and opera productions, including at the Teatro Sao Carlo in Lisbon, the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, the Teatro Terme di Caracalla in Rome and the Vlaamse Opera in Antwerp, under the baton of Donato Renzetti. He was also assistant conductor in the production of Otello by G. Rossini at the Vlaamse Opera (Antwerp-Ghent), conducted by Alberto Zedda.
In the Spanish operatic field, he has collaborated as assistant conductor in important productions such as Roberto Devereux by G. Donizetti with the ABAO (Palacio Euskalduna, Bilbao), Fuenteovejuna by Jorge Muñiz (world premiere, Teatro Campoamor, Oviedo) and Otello by G. Verdi with the AGAO (Baluarte, Pamplona).
He has worked with internationally renowned artists such as Gregory Kunde, Anna Pirozzi, Silvia Tro Santafé, Àngel Òdena, Carlo Lepore, Nicola Alaimo, Michele Pertusi, Salome Jicia, Teresa Iervolino, Cecilia Molinari, Enea Scala, Carmen Romeu, Mariola Cantarero, Luis Cansino, José Luis Sola, Damián del Castillo, Svetlana Aksenova, Maxim Mironov, Alessandro Luongo and the bassoonist Enrico Bassi.
